Basking in this simple moment
3:53pm—I adore the sun around this time of day. Still steady, but you can definitely sense its departure coming.
One of life’s simple pleasures is that moment of silence when you have arrived to your destination, especially when you have arrived home. The car engine shuts off, and the slight rumble in your ears, and in your seat disappear all at once.
Sometime I spend 10, 15, even 20 minutes basking in this simple moment.
