Happy New Year, 2024

Speaking of tradition—which I touched upon in my previous entry—our New Years Day polar bear dip is a fun one. We started this tradition last year at Falls Lake. This year was our second annual, which I think solidifies its status at ‘tradition’. We swam at Wolfville Watershed lake, and it was significantly colder than last year, and much snowier to boot! It required some serious jumping jacks to warm back up. Too bad I won’t be doing it again next year. Too cold!
