Merry Christmas
Christmas morning, coffee brewing, fire blazing. Bliss.
Merry Christmas to all! We had a lovely and relaxing Christmas, our first in our house here in Windsor. We didn’t leave the house all day, other than for a walk with Mersey. It was incredibly cozy.

I baked a delicious batch of gingerbread cookies. I used Delia Smith’s recipe which is quite lovely, loaded with seasonal spice and loads of fresh orange zest!
And we pigged out on some wonderful oysters from PEI.

Christmas dinner for two.
We may have made a little too much food—but worry not, we took the leftovers to Michael’s family’s house on Boxing Day, and we finished everything off.
