Valentine’s dinner at Juniper
We had a lovely dinner at Juniper in Wolfville for Valentine’s Day. The tomatillo mignonette was a wonderful condiment for the oysters.
A very delicious tuna dish with tomato jam, fried shallots, and parsley.
Gnocchi with an abundance of pea shoots, and very tiny slivers of perfectly crunchy asparagus. This was very delicious!
We definitely didn’t need dessert, as we were already pretty full, so naturally we ordered two! A walnut tarn drenched in creme anglaise, and a delicate and sumptuous creme caramel.
