Last Friday night
Last Friday night we hosted our first dinner party with a 100% Windsor (and Falmouth) guest list! I’m feeling very lucky to have met such a wonderful group of people since we moved here in May.
Merry Christmas
We had a lovely and relaxing Christmas, our first in our house here in Windsor. We didn’t leave the house all day, other than for a walk with Mersey. It was incredibly cozy.
Enjoying the fall weather
It’s been really wonderful watching the leaves change colours here in Windsor. There are so many more trees to admire than there were in our old neighbourhood! And I think Mersey has been appreciating the crisp air, I imagine it is quite a relief from the summer scorch, with his thick blonde coat.
See you later, Halifax
I spent the majority of my university years in the West End; a fabulous year Downtown; a wonderful year and a half at mine and Michael’s first apartment in the North End, a brief stint in the South End, and most recently at our first house in Spryfield.
That weekend in Malagash
Every once in a while you have a weekend away that you just can’t shake. You remember it by the way that it feels, rather than the specifics. It feels like a dancing warmth in your toes, that spreads all the way through your heart, up into the cushions around your eyes. You can feel it when you breath, and you can see it when you blink.
A quiet start
Eight degrees was chillier than one might hope for on a June morning, but embracing the cold rain made the temperature fall out of focus.
