Honeymoon-ing: The Cabot Trail, Cape Breton *with Mersey and Ivan

After more than 10 years living in Nova Scotia, I had still never been to the Cabot Trail. We figured that there was no better time to visit than on our honeymoon! Michael and I had been to Cape Breton two times prior, but only to Judique in the south of the island—as that is where Mersey and Ivan are both from.

In typical Nova Scotian fashion, the weather wasn’t totally on our side. The day that we drove the Cabot Trail was rainy, foggy, and cool. But we made the most of it! The dogs both went for a swim at Broad Cove Beach in Ingonish.
